Roundtable Discussion Speaker:
Carl Douglas is in private practice at Douglas / Hicks Law in Beverly Hills. Among his many honors is his being named the Trial Lawyer of the Year for 2006 by the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, the largest local association of plaintiffs’ attorneys in the United States. The firm handles a wide array of serious injury, wrongful death, and civil rights matters, as well as defends those charged with serious crimes in state and federal court. Mr. Douglas was also twice honored as the “Loren Miller Lawyer of the Year” by the John M. Langston Bar Association. Mr. Douglas earned his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and his law degree from the Boalt Hall School of Law, at the University of California, Berkeley. He is a former CAOC Board Member as well as an Emeritus Member of CAALA’s Board of Governors. He is a frequent lecturer at community based and legal seminars across the country and has served as a legal commentator on various radio and television programs throughout the nation.

This meeting is open to new lawyer members of CAALA (0-10 years of practice). Program includes complimentary dinner buffet. Guests are not eligible to attend member-only programs.

Complimentary valet parking is available in the CAALA Office building. Please tell the valet parking attendant you are attending the CAALA meeting. The parking entrance is on Figueroa, right before 6th Street (look for the silver & black sign for 888 W. 6th St. parking – it’s in the Chase Bank building). Figueroa is one-way heading North and the entrance is on the East (right) side of the street.
Parking in the CAALA office structure may be at capacity for this event. Overflow parking is available at 800 W. 6th Street, on the corner of 6th and Flower. The parking entrance is on Flower. The self-parking charge is $9.00.
